Background

  • KISDI developed statistical indicators that measure cross-media use behaviors of media content users in order to capture the current multi-media trend where media contents are accessible through various mediums.

Purpose

  • The Korean Media Panel Survey is a panel survey that is designed to accumulate data on the same sample over a long period. The survey aims to track changes in the media environment and usage behaviors of the same household samples and their household members.
  • The survey aims to provide data for in-depth media research and policy-making by designing survey questionnaires that reflect current broadcasting and communication environment.
  • The survey aims to track the impacts of changes in the media environment on the media use behaviors of households and individuals, and to analyze their media use behaviors by demographic characteristics.
